WildFibers is the result of a lifelong dream of mine. My Grammie taught me to knit at the age of eight, and ever since then, whenever she and I or my mom would come out of a yarn store, our immediate comment would be "someday we will have a shop of our own."I only wish Grammie were here to see this now. We used to buy yarn by the case to keep her knitting for her favorite charity.There are small touches throughout the store that are her gifts to me, including the vintage needles you will find poking out of the yarn baskets. While very traditional, a hard-working mother of four who immigrated from Great Britain in 1945, she was at the same time very modern and always willing to try the newest trend.So, in Grammie's style, I will try to provide you with the best in both the traditional and the trendy.
