Parking Tips

Locals and visitors alike can, at times, find parking in Downtown Mount Vernon a challenge. Here are some tips from someone who’s lived here her whole life.

Parking on Weekend is unlimited, park anywhere for as long as you like.

On weekdays I can usually find a spot on the reventment – the parking right along the river. Follow Kincaid street up the incline at 1st street to get there. After two o’clock you don’t have to worry about the 2 hour limit in any spot. If this doesn’t work and it’s a nice day, there is a parking lot at the library, two blocks south of the Bank of America.
