Finishing for the Finicky- with Susanna Hansson

Good Finishing requires patience and attention to detail. However, commercial knitting patterns are often lacking in detailed instructions when it comes to finishing. Beautifully knit pieces can end up as a ratty looking sweater even when you try your hardest to do a good job. So, what's a knitter to do? Learn Susanna's three golden rules when it comes to finishing as well as the importance of swatching, seaming techniques, shoulder & neckline treatments, short rows, picking up stitches, buttonholes, finishing order & blocking. This is a hands-on workshop ~ you will be working the techniques as you learn them in class. This is Susanna's fifth time teaching finishing for us.

Saturday March 3rd. 10:30 a.m. ~ 5:30 p.m. 1 hour included for lunch
