Occasionally, we host knit-alongs featuring patterns, designers, or techniques that we love. Here are some commonly asked questions about knit-alongs:

Q: KAL? What’s a KAL?

A: KAL stands for knit-along. Essentially, a KAL consists of a group of knitters knitting the same pattern at the same time. We choose patterns that we love, that we think our customers will really love too. Typically our KAL projects are at an intermediate level, but each pattern will be at a different skill level.

Q: I’m not a very fast knitter, do I have to keep on a schedule?

A: Nope! Every knitter has their own pace, and there is no need to knit according to a schedule. There is no need to try to be finished at a certain time.

Q: Can I come and knit at the shop?

A: Our Sit & Stitch takes place Wednesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is open to everyone. Also, if you’re in the area and what to sit and work on your current project for a bit, feel free!

While staff is on hand to answer quick questions during our knit groups, was ask that if you need more involved help with a project to please make an appointment.
