Blocking- with Chris Berg

Beginning Needle Felting- with Skagit Woolen Works

Saturday, March 23rd, 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Learn needle felting with locally sourced and processed wool! Instructors Jessica Schwab and Jamie Barber will guide students through some simple techniques to create 'Flower and Friend' - a colorful needle felted flower and snail friend. All materials supplied, no experience required. Recommended for ages 10+. Class price includes the kit (needles, felting matt, roving, and printed instructions).  $55.00, supplies included

Introduction to Lace - with Linda Peterson

Two 2 hour sessions: Saturdays, March 23rd and 30th, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Lace knitting can be intimidating, but it needn’t be! In this introductory class you will learn the foundations necessary to create stunning designs using various lace stitches. Other class topics include using life-lines and stitch markers to decrease stress and increase confidence during the knitting process. Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills such as knitting and purling, casting on and binding off and working in the round.  $60.00, supplies and pattern not included. Pattern needs to be purchased for $4.99 on Ravelry.
